ASA develops computer
tools to be used to provide functional answers related to environmental and engineering problems and challenges.
ASA's computer
models simulate physical, chemical, and biological
processes. Our models can be used to answer interdisciplinary
questions related to marine and freshwater as well as atmospheric and land environments.
Since 1979, ASA's technically diverse staff has used
these models and built innovative tools to solve environmental and engineering
problems. Listed here are computer models and software tools that ASA has developed or co-developed for the oil, gas, chemical, marine, and GIS industry.
ASAMAPTM, ASA’s suite of environmental modeling tools, are available for licensed use and customization and include: AIRMAP, CHEMMAP, CMSMAP, COASTMAP, HYDROMAP, OILMAP, SARMAP, SIMAP, MUDMAP and WQMAP.
